I have had many questions on Viva Beads®. So I wanted to give you a little background on what they are and where they come from.
VIVA MEANING
The word "Viva" means a salute to life, and thus has been the anchoring energy behind their name. It is their mission to share hope, joy, and passion for life, with everyone who wears Viva Beads®.
VIVA BEADS OWNERS
Viva Beads® are created by Jill Manzara, a single mom of two, and Lori Mottlowitz, a mother of four girls, two mothers who set out to make a better life for themselves and their families. They discovered an existing artisan technique, by which endless design and creativity could be unleashed.
THE TECHNIQUE
Viva Beads® are a unique clay bead jewelry line made using a technique called "caning". This 100% handmade process starts by layering colors and shapes of polymer clay that is layered to create a design that is unique. Then slowly whittled down and hand rolled into each individual bead while still keeping the integrity of each beautiful design.
The beads are then baked, cooled and strung into a unique creation. This same technique is similar to the layering of Venetian Glass.
By layering polymer clay this presented an excellent opportunity to create unique designs in products. Henceforth, the start to Viva Beads® was born. The beginning of this original idea of two moms, looking for a better way.
Each Viva Bead is truly a treasured work of art.
MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS
Neither of the two moms had any education, financing or experience in importing and distribution. The gals had to slowly build their business from nothing.
Now a multi-million dollar enterprise, Lori and Jill are making a huge name for themselves by selling their Jewelry and creating joy in other people's lives through their jewelry.
